Arm & Wrist Supports & Other Aids
Our Guide to Wrist Supports & Other Aids
For those of us who suffer with neck pain, shoulder pain, wrist pain etc., it is often hard to find a solution that relieves the strain on these muscle groups. Our selection of wrist and arms supports are designed to reduce muscle load by supporting the weight of the arm and/or wrist. Products such as the Ergorest, which support the weight of the arm fully, whilst allowing the hand to move freely across the keyboard and mouse, are an ideal solution for many.
Other aids include Desk Riser, a simple and affordable way to raise the height of your desk when required. This helps those of you who are taller than most, or for those of you who may want to use a saddle stool and need to sit just that little bit higher than normal.
And then there are your standard keyboard wrist rests! Love them or hate them they exist! The only benefit is to maintain a neutral wrist angle IN BETWEEN typing. Please DO NOT rest the wrist on the support whilst typing as this will cause you to place strain through the wrist joint as you search for the letters on your keyboard. Make sure the wrist rest is also not too high - a nice flat one such as the Trapzium Ergo Wrist Rest is ideal, and comes in two sizes - standard keyboard or compact
