Grahl DuoBack
Grahl Duo-Back® is equipped with a unique dual backrest, with the two elements moving independently of each other. Height adjustable, the backrests on the Grahl Duo-Back correctly support the back of any user. The space between the duo back pads allows the spine to move freely. Instead of putting pressure on the spine, support is evenly distributed throughout the back muscles. The duoback backrests are pivotally mounted enabling them to move in all three axes – forwards and backwards, up and down and left to right. The type 11 and 12 is the most popular range, with a synchronous movement mechanism, whilst the Ergonom 67 range has the option of a split seat mechanism. SPS has a multi-lock tilting action with weight tension control and a seat angle adjustment of +5 to -14º, and is for many the most comfortable model.

Grahl's task chair with patented DuoBack pads comes in two models: Type 11, and Type 12. The two models differ only the fact that the Type 12 has upholstered back shells. Both models offer a synchronous seat mechanism with multiple settings and weight tension adjustment.
The 'Classic' DuoBack chair, with independent back rake mechanism offers a variety of adaptations to suit individual requirements, including different seat pan sizes and the option to have a split seat mechanism. (Not available on the Type 11/12)
SPS Duo-Back has the same ergonomic features as the Type 11 and Ergonom 67 range, with the added benefit of a multi-lock tilting action with weight tension control, giving a knee tilt function of +5 to -14º.
The Grahl Xenium Freework mechanism provides multi directional movement from the seated position. The direction and flow of the mechanism is adjusted by the body's motor function. By shifting the emphasis and positioning of your body weight the mechanism will adjust with you. Resistance to this movement can be semi locked if desired. Weight tension adjustment ensures that the movement can be set to each individual's preferences. Suitable for users of 45-125kg in weight (7-19.5 stone). Available with the Classic back, Duo-Back or Mesh Back.
